Golden Hour Blaine County, Idaho 2024
About the Trail
Golden Hour is a 4.0-mile, intermediate-difficulty singletrack designed for foot travel, equestrian use, mountain bikes, and Class 1 eBikes. The trail gains 871 feet and descends 1,114 feet, delivering a sustained, physically engaging experience for users seeking a step up in challenge from nearby routes.
Trail alignment builds on natural terrain features to create longer climbs, faster descents, and more varied grade transitions than Silver Lining. Grades and sightlines were designed to support mixed use while maintaining flow and durability across a range of speeds and user types.
Access to Golden Hour is recommended via Silver Lining to its high point, where the trail begins and transitions into a more technical riding and hiking experience. Golden Hour serves as a “Blue Square” progression trail within the network, offering increased elevation change and sustained effort without advanced technical features.
